The highly functional "RW Transit" series has extremely high water repellency, excellent breathability, and even added comfort by stretching. RW stands for Repel Water. The MINOTECH stretch material from Teijin was developed based on the structure of the traditional Japanese rain gear "mino" made from rice, which "slides the rain and protects it from the rain." The surface tension of the fabric is made into a convex structure smaller than the water droplets, so the water droplets roll off. The fabric design also achieves a stretch rate of 10%. The uneven structure of the fabric is maintained even when stretched, so the water repellency is maintained.
