Kosuke Tsumura Poncho
A special project with Japanese artist and designer Kosuke Tsumura.
Tsumura’s survival jacket, a garment for surviving dystopian scenarios in thanks to abundant pockets and technical fabric, comes from the idea that clothes are a person’s ultimate home, since we spend most of our time inside them. Upon the loss of one’s home, the jacket or gilet becomes the home.
The poncho jacket and gilet, constructed from Lavenster polyester, with numerous pockets all over each garment. Zips run up and down each piece allowing the cavity to be filled with whatever suits the wearer.
Continuing upon our journey of ‘using up’ and ‘being better’, we’ve filled our Poncho jackets and gilets with off-cuts from the factory. Each collaboration garment comes with a pack of three ‘pebbles’, made entirely from waste materials recycled from our factory. Use them, or choose whatever makes home for you.
