VETRA, founded in 1927 by Parisian EDOUARD BEEREN, is a quintessential workwear brand in a menswear marketplace overcrowded with imitations lacking the "heritage" they proclaim so loudly.
In 1939 VETRA supplied the French army with uniforms. Just a year later, BEEREN cut said uniforms into pieces and destroyed his machines while refusing to work for the Nazis.
For over 90 years they have produced simple yet beautifully put together and always robust pieces. To this day, even when working on more contemporary fits alongside Japanese partners BOY's Co, VETRA designs remain as true to the ethos of workwear as the very first prototypes back in 1927.
That everything is still made exclusively in France goes without saying.
